Professional Development Partners
Professional Development Partners are individuals, organizations or businesses that have joined with STANYS in meeting the challenges of science education for all student in NYS. The expectation is that the involved parties implement a plan for providing Professional Development ("PD") and resources for teachers, administrators and students that explain the new approach to teaching science based on the Framework for K-12 Science Education ( National Academies Press) and the NYS version of the Next Generation Science Standards ( "NYSSLS").
