The NYS Science Congress is a culminating event for students who have been given high honor recognition by a NYS regional science fair. It is from these official fairs that NYS Science Congress receives participating students - they win in to attend.

Most of NYS Regional Science Fairs are Society for Science /ISEF affiliated science fairs, part of a worldwide network, and are the first step to competing at national events such as the Regeneron ISEF and Broadcom MASTERS.  Society for Science is a champion for science, dedicated to expanding scientific literacy, effective STEM education and scientific research.

The NYS Science Congress will be held at the Milton J. Rubenstein Museum of Science & Technology (MOST) at  500 S. Franklin St., Syracuse, NY, 13202.  The event runs from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm with project judging from 9:30 am t0 11:30 am.  Spectators are welcome  from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm(Congress Schedule)
