Annual Conference - Pre-Service Teacher (2021)

Sharing the Stories of Science is the theme for this year's conference.

Pre-Service Individuals: You must be registered with STANYS as a Pre-service Member to attend the Conference (see Membership Form web page)

Pre-Service Fees are: Full Conference ($20), Saturday Only ($10), Sunday Only ($10).  No meals are included but can be added $.

Attendance at the Conference includes workshops (Saturday - Sunday), attendance at the Annual Meeting (STANYS awards and keynote speaker),  Exhibits Hall, various social gatherings and other concurrent activities.

Add on options include: Friday Night Event, Saturday Dinner, Saturday and Sunday Breakfasts and/or Luncheons.

PAYMENT is by Credit Card (Online), Check or P.O.

STANYS Conference COVID-19 Policy

In an effort to keep all of our members and guests safe, STANYS will require ALL Annual Conference participants to either show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 vaccination (CDC COVID-19 Vaccine Record Card or NYS Excelsior Pass) OR proof of a negative COVID-19 test.

•  Individuals are considered fully vaccinated against COVID-19 when more than two weeks have passed since they received the second dose in a two-dose series (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna), or more than two weeks have passed since they received a single-dose vaccine (Johnson & Johnson/Janssen). 
•  Approved COVID-19 tests include a nucleic acid amplification test (e.g., PCR test) or a viral antigen test that is approved by the local health authority. Test results must be within 72 hours of your arrival at the Annual Conference.
•  For the safety of all attendees and given the current uptick in Delta variant cases the STANYS organization asks that individuals wear masks.
• In addition, we will be following all local, NYSDOH, and CDC COVID-19 guidelines as they continue to evolve.
