By entering an event or program (whether in-person or online) of the Science Teachers Association of New York State (STANYS), you are entering an area where photography, audio and video live-streaming and/or recording may occur.

Your entry and presence on the event premises constitutes your consent to be photographed, filmed (including live-streamed), and/or otherwise recorded and to the release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction of any and all recorded media of your appearance, voice, and name for any purpose whatsoever in perpetuity in connection with STANYS and its initiatives, including, by way of example only, use on websites, in social media, news and advertising.

By entering the event premises, you waive and release any claims you may have related to the use of such media of you at the event, including, without limitation, any right to inspect or approve the photo, video or audio recording of you, any claims for invasion of privacy, violation of the right of publicity, defamation, and copyright infringement or for any fees for use of such record media.

You understand that all photography, filming (including live-streaming) and/or recording will be done in reliance on this consent. If you do not agree to the foregoing, please do not enter the event premises.

Making Climate Science Stick: For the Classroom, Community and Beyond

Interested attendees can register for the full-day workshop separately from the Annual Conference and as an add-on to their Annual Conference registration.

Members - to register, first click "Register" then provide your email address. Please provide the email that STANYS uses to contact you as a member. Registration confirmation will be sent to this address.

Non-Members - click "Register" to access the registration form then provide an email address to which you would like a registration confirmation sent.

PAYMENT
Fee: $150.00 (A light breakfast and buffet lunch is part of the registration fee.)

Payment can be made by Credit Card Online, by Check or Purchase Order. The Check or P.O. and should be received by STANYS at least 2 days before the event date.

2026 Conference - Sunday Only (November 07, 2026)

Sunday conference includes workshops, Sunday dinner, a Subject Area Breakfast, attendance at post workshop events, various social gatherings and concurrent activities. Add on options include Friday Night Dinner/Event, the Fellows Reception, PRI Institute with Breakfast on Monday.

NOTE to Members: Click on "Register". The member registration option will become available once you enter your STANYS Membership email. This is the email that STANYS uses to communicate with you. Be sure you will have an active membership (one that has not lapsed before the end of the conference) for the Conference.

Full Conference includes workshops (Saturday, Sunday, Monday), Saturday/Sunday Dinners, One Subject Area Breakfast, attendance at the Annual Meeting (STANYS awards and keynote speaker), various social gatherings and concurrent activities. Add on options include: Friday Night Dinner/Event, the Fellows Reception, an Additional Breakfast, PRI Institute with Breakfast on Monday.
