Participants will learn about the history of Onondaga Lake, Honeywell’s clean-up efforts, and current water quality. The first speaker, Honeywell Director Craig Milburn, will discuss the company’s remediation efforts and the STEM involved in the process. Afterward, Monica Matt from the not-for-profit Upstate Freshwater Institute will share data and information about water quality, macroinvertebrates, invasive species and more. Participants will also do some lakeside field work, weather permitting."
