Student Opportunities

Foundation Grant

About the STANYS Foundation

The Foundation provides funds to K-12 students for legitimate science enrichment opportunities beyond the classroom. This is a matching grant fund and the limit per student is $200. Up to $1000 may be awarded in one year. The teacher applying on behalf of the students must be a member of STANYS.

Sources for the funds include the balance of a grant from the Olin Chemical Corporation, rebates from the Hawaii 2000 Travel Agency, directed donations from members, and proceeds from the STANYS Store.
